single burial plot
The wife died at 45 after succumbing to cancer. The husband wanted to get 2 burial plots,
next to each other. But his mum -in-law stopped him from doing so.
What do you say to that?

Why not? I thought it's common to buy 2 lots. Can't understand why the MIL is not in favor of it.

MIL has no say, unless she's paying for the plots.

anonymous, If her daughter were alive, MIL would not object
doc, MIL has good intentions, paving the way for the son in law to remarry should he choose to do so ( high probability)
