He has been drinking like a fish. Now, he needs a liver transplant. He wants working son in his 20's to donate part of liver . His wife objects. His liver transplant costs RM300000

I'm not sure where you're located (RM?) but here in the USA it would be a moot question. If he is still an active alcoholic he would not be transplanted anyway. The standard is 5 to 7 years of proved sobriety before transplantation is normally considered (even in living donors).

Agree with buck, if the doctors deem him not an appropriate candidate for transplant they would not do it anyway. Just like if an anorexic has any kind of organ failure, dun think she or he would be top of the list for any kind of transplant anytime soon.
