one set of parents
There are ladies who chose to have a baby , without the complications of having a husband or partner. They are fulfilling their maternal instincts here.
But what about the child. Is it fair for him/her to grow up with only one set of parents? He has no choice here, bear that in mind.
Daughter says it is better for these ladies to adopt , thus giving a mother to a motherless child, rather than to choose not to give a father to her own baby. Is she right?

The child will grow up just like any other child. What matters most is how the child is being brought up :)
